INGREDIENTS
• 450g Chicken Livers
• 1 tbsp Salted Butter
• 3 tbsp Olive Oil
• 2 Onions
• 2 Cloves of Garlic
• 125g Red Pepper
• 1 Green Pepper
• 2 Grated Tomatoes or 1 can of chopped tomatoes
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tso Black Pepper
•.1 cup of chopped parsley
• 1 tsp Oregano
• 2 tbsp Rosemary
• 2 Bay leaves
• 3 Sticks of Thyme
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of red wine
• Cooked rice
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- Sauté onions for 3 minutes or until translucent, add garlic, whole spices (bay leaves and thyme and chicken livers
- Sauté until chicken livers are browned, add the wine until it evaporates
- add red and green peppers, parsley and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Stir, add grated tomato, seasonings, oregano, rosemary add water Serve over rice
- You can also sprinkle any grated cheese you’d like
